Studio Ambi is a design studio creating environments that invite pleasure, curiousity, and connection.

We design spaces through objects, systems, and experiences — shaping how people move, pause, explore, and feel within an environment. From singular objects to full fit-outs, our work sits at the intersection of spatial design and object making; using modular systems, flexible joinery, and kit-of-parts approaches that allow spaces to evolve without losing what makes them feel alive.

Design that adapts, spaces that connect.

Essence of experiences

The Essence of experiences, is a belief that every meaningful experience is created through the interaction between people, objects and the space.

We capture that essence through adaptability, materiality and light - designing objects and environments that don't just function, but become part of how people remember a moment, a meal, a conversation.

The name

At Studio Ambi, we value the act of exploring and experiencing places and spaces. We're drawn to a certain ambience — the moods, moments, and atmospheres that shape how we feel.

That's where our name comes from: Ambi — meaning 'both' and a play on 'ambience' — a reflection of our adaptable, experiential approach to design. Both functional and feeling. Both object and space. Both yours and remembered.

How we work

We work collaboratively with our clients and, often alongside other creatives and trades, allowing us to reinterpret, customise, and curate without standardising aesthetics. Each project begins with understanding how a business actually lives in its space; the flow, the friction, the income streams, the identity — and designing from there.

We test new ways of making interiors more adaptable, accessible, and less reliant on wasteful, one-off solutions. Our modular approach means businesses can evolve their spaces as they grow, without starting from scratch every time.

Adaptability
We develop modular systems that allow spaces to evolve intelligently over time. Businesses grow. Concepts shift. Spaces should too, without expensive rebuilds or losing the things that made them feel right in the first place.

Our focus

Experiential
We believe the best spaces don't just function, they set the tone. Our work introduces subtle, unexpected moments that make a space memorable: a material choice, a sculptural object, the way light interacts with surfaces. These are the details people remember and come back to.

Sensory
We engage the senses intentionally through materiality, light, scale, and form, to create richer, more meaningful connections between people and their environments. Not decoration, but translation.

Creative founder & designer
Dip. Interior design
Cert IV. Fashion design & tech

I've spent my life driven by a need to explore and experience places, spaces, objects, moments. That curiousity is what led me to design, and what keeps me here.

Trained across interior, graphic, and fashion design, I bring almost a decade of experience across high-end residential and commercial projects — with expertise in colour theory, custom furniture and joinery, spatial planning, and visual communication.

My approach sits at the intersection of the sensory and the strategic. I draw inspiration from architectural eras like Modernism, Mid-Century, and Art Deco, from dance, from the way light changes a room. I ask two questions on every project:

What should this feel like?
What can change vs what should stay?

Studio Ambi exists to translate that same quality of experience into the spaces where people live, recharge, gather, and remember.

The studio’s core values

  • Adaptability

We embrace change as opportunity, designing spaces that can transform without compromise to meet evolving needs and emergent possibilities.

  • Sensory mapping

We engage the senses intentionally to create richer, more meaningful connections between people and their environments.

  • Functional innovation

we challenge conventional approaches by developing original, practical solutions that merge creativity with purposeful functionality.

  • Resourceful sustainability

We design adaptable systems that maximise long-term value—using fewer materials, reducing waste, and creating spaces that can evolve and be reused rather than replaced.

  • Experiential authenticity

We create genuine, memorable environments that reflect the unique identity of each client while fostering meaningful human connections.
