We’re big on escapism and have been developing a range of concepts that are flexible, intimate spaces for a centered, tranquil experience. These pods are designed for larger existing spaces like workspaces, gym environments, boutique hotels, retail precincts and adaptive reuse contexts.
Key features include rendered walls, amber glass bricks throughout as screens and joinery + natural cork finishes. The pods follow a ritual that is proven to boost your productivity and promote relaxation for your daily routine.

Studio ambi is developing a new idea called Movables. These kiosks or banquettes can be placed within existing spaces easily and are more flexible than traditional setups. As part of the project, smaller spaces called ‘ Kiosk kollection’ are being created to show the potential of unused retail shops and to look at interior spaces differently. They can be set up and taken down quickly, making them ideal for businesses with changing locations or leases. This concept allows companies to maintain their branding while staying cost-effective, reaching a wider audience. Studio Ambi aims to introduce a trial project and welcomes clients interested in using the Movables model for their brand.

The Premise of the project was to ‘reflect beauty’, so the finishes needed to embody this and convey the message visually, throughout the space. To create a visually appealing environment, the design included textured walls, elegant quartzite countertops, and rich timber. The narrow layout presented challenges, so the colour mixing studio and kitchen were placed in the center to reduce traffic at the back, for a calm atmosphere. The central cabinetry holds administrative items and provides access to the kitchen and color mixing area, while also increasing seating capacity.

Tempo Cafe in Terrey Hills, NSW, offers healthy food for cyclists and visitors. It has become a popular stop for passers by and the local cycling track. The cafe name inspired the interior concept to emulate raked zen gardens, as seen in the rendered wall, that have different types of working clocks. The space needed to relfect the fresh and clean produce that would be created in the kitchen. It is a light, fresh and airy spot and is suitable for all.

The architects designed a Sri Lankan-style house based on the client's love for travel. Each section of the house has unique features that tie them together. Every detail is customised, from themed rooms to tailored joinery and a mix of vintage items. The furniture and styling match the grand spaces, like the living room, kitchen, and dining area.
